89 — Signal Festival

illo.tv designed 89 — Signal Festival. In October 2019 the creative studio illo.tv was among the guests of Signal Festival in Prague. They put their colorful signature style into 89, the studio’s first video mapping project celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Czech Velvet Revolution.

They built the project focusing on four different stages: starting with the repressive Regime and moving towards the Revolution, with the upcoming Evolution and the promise of a better life with a redesigned Future. The videos were projected every evening in Lyčkovo Square throughout the festival, gathering excited crowds of visitors, eager to see a revolution in colors.
