Balt Identity

Now that we find ourselves between holidays and New Year's Eve is around the corner, we still don't know how we managed to pull out a great Christmas outfit after some pretty intense weeks. That's an ability we should be proud of and include in our CVs: "survived two pandemic December without 100% collapses", should add an asterisk saying 'might be some collateral damage though". However, today's design post has nothing to do with organizational skills but fashion! We're introducing Balt, a new Turkish fashion brand that exceeds the usual garments with a minimalistic approach.

To bring to life and communicate to the audience their ultra-clean aesthetics, they asked Fol studio to design Balt's visual identity. Inspired by the Turkish deserts and the brand's initial, the creative team came up with a clever typographic logo, which its short version materializes with the B's negative spaces. The sober color palette consists mainly of black and white, as we've discussed not long ago; that many fashion brands choose to follow that path. Yet Balt includes subtle details and the wrapping paper pattern in a sandy beige tone that adds a luxurious touch.

All the work done by Fol has an incredible sense of standardized fashion and manifests Balt's essence. The new corporate identity is more than stunning, and we're in love with the stationary's art direction.
