Banyan Tree Essentials Identity

'Banyan Tree Group is a leading international operator and developer of premium resorts, hotels, spas and residences in 14 countries around the world. Over the years, the award-winning Banyan Tree Spa Academy and their strategic laboratory partner in Thailand created a series of aromatherapy, bath and body care products.

Two years ago, ACRE Design embarked on a collaborative journey into their rebranding and reformulation efforts that went deep into understanding the production process of each product, ensuring their values of sustainability were embedded in every aspect.

The new look features signature bottles with a distinct asymmetrical silhouette inspired by the graceful curves of the Banyan Tree logo. They come in three sizes and look great both on its own or as a set, resembling a family of trees. Parts of the bottles are embossed with the symbolic hanging roots of the first Banyan Tree in their first flagship hotel — Banyan Tree Phuket.

Set in the elegant Christiana typeface for its varied stroke weights and hand-lettered impression, the label design was carefully engineered to fit every perceivable proportion in Banyan Tree’s wide offering. The collection name is printed in gold, and the background spot a faint, subtle wood-texture.'
