Becoming is an architecture and interior design studio based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Founded in 2021, the studio has a diversified portfolio of residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects. Objective Jorge Guzman, a Dominican entrepreneur; based in New York and with relevant experience in the hospitality industry, asked Fugitiva studio to conceive a modern and compelling concept for his architecture firm.
The solution the creative team came up with is more than on point! The brand identity consists of smooth and organic lines that express the brand’s core, a constant transformation, and searching innovation. Based on Archivo, narrow and geometric typography designed by Omnibus-Type, the logo speaks of the art and architecture conceived by the studio, a minimalist aesthetic where form follows function. Respecting Becoming studio's color palette, it has some striking accents in a neon hue that makes it super modern and avant-garde. Also, the art direction adds textures with rocks and produces interesting shadows to give the brand an urban and more dramatic look and feel.
All in all, the goal was to create an attractive identity with a timeless design that excels in its industry, and Fugitiva studio nailed that one.
