Being a designer means spending many hours behind the computer screen. Even after a pandemic and technological advances, our sight is more than exhausted from those extra hours exposed to ultra-bright images. Today, we're featuring Bombavista, a Mexican optician's shop that offers fashionable eyewear at affordable prices, and Anagrama was in charge of its branding.
The main objective of this project is to develop a brand for Bombavista that offers good quality, fashionable products at a fair price to the general public. The brand should help to complement a practical shopping experience in its physical and online stores. The conceptualization of the brand name was part of the project. With this, the creative team sought to present a proudly Latin identity through a relaxed and fun tone; while communicating the type of industry to which the company belongs. The graphic identity consists of complementary colors that generate visual contrasts hand in hand with a fun and legible typographic selection. Moreover, the brand logo subtly presents an icon with a pair of glasses.
Plus, Anagrama team created complimentary graphic elements that function as stickers and patterns that coexist with the brand and give it a more human tone. Furthermore, a character inspired by chewing gum that explodes once he puts on his Bombavista glasses stands out.
