Have you ever found yourself in a context where you have to eat a bug? Well, today's design post has everything to do with that! Halo creative studio did BugBag's branding, a protein bar, jar, and bag made of insects. A bug snack can save the world. Tasty and rich in nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.
Did you know crickets emit less than 0.1% of the greenhouse emissions of cows to produce the same amount of protein? "If we want to save the planet, the future of food is insects," says The Guardian. Edible insects reduce overfishing in seas and oceans and help minimalize the acreage needed for grazing cattle. The breeding of edible insects takes up very little space, not to mention much smaller amounts of water used. We're in love with Halo's fun, elegant art direction, where the bugs and worms are unobserved but bring a lot to the table, literally. Pastel colors and golden accents give BugBag a luxurious look and feel.
