Once again is Saturday, and we're making plans with you tonight. But for that, we need to travel to gorgeous Greece, base to Caparo studio. Since 2018, to honor their clients, this design team has been doing a traditional Greek alcoholic beverage renamed Caparaki.

Tsikoudia, also often called Raki, is an alcoholic spirit: a fragrant, grape-based white brandy-type of Cretan origin that contains 40% to 50% alcohol. Tsikoudia's production consists of distilling pomace, the remainings of grapes pressed in winemaking. In Crete, many local, small distilleries locally produce it and, its alcohol content depends on the producer's taste. Caparaki comes with a different concept and packaging design each year. Common ground is the studio's insights, stories, jokes, projects, etc., featured on pack design, and last but not least, the portrait of each Caparo member. Caparaki 2021 edition, compliant with the ancient prophecies, the world is finally meeting its end, pun intended.

The story goes something like this.. "Once upon a time, earthlings were celebrating or mourning about the end of times. However, a small bunch of designers, for example, decide at the very last minute, so they went out for a... Salvation Absolute Quest [in their] Multiverse Yacht [for] Planetary Escape Nomads, SAQ MY PEN for short. Their mission consisted of finding something that would be able to cure every carnal or spiritual disease if they weren't ready to step into the next version of existence. At the same time, something should be able to "bye-bye-everything", if they felt like time had come for a change. That something turned out to be a lot closer than they thought. In Chromomonastiri, a small village situated in Crete, Venizelos, the monk, was turning grapes into God.

Caparaki's 2021 edition from Caparo's design crew is a special packaging gift to cherish their good moments and to have something to remember. Caparaki is a concept that celebrates craftsmanship, creativity, and people coming together.
