Beautiful editorial piece entitled The Chronology of Water by Bureau Rabensteiner in Austria.
The Chronology of Water Hanna Philomena Scheiber
Blue-coloured ice blocks melt slowly on the canvas, thereby creating a painting in which Hanna Philomena Scheiber is not actively involved herself. She generates analogies of water and ice, rocks and mountains, transitoriness and transformation, climate change and human capability of transmutation.
The art book entitled “The Chronology of Water” was written in this spirit as a backdrop for her works. The designed elements have been placed subtly, and reflect formations and patterns as well as abstractions which nature itself generates. Quite like in her pictures, the so-called “oltremare scuro” tends to dominate the design, what in German is known as ultramarine, all the way from the typography to the wrapping paper.
