Today, we're celebrating the 30th anniversary of a radio station; perhaps if you're from Canada, you might have listened to it! CISM has played alternative music for a long time. To mark the 30th anniversary of CISM, a volunteer-run, legendary radio station in Montreal, Caserne embraced the roots of the cultural institution.
The creative team built a visual identity that honors its analog past while acknowledging the digital present by tapping into the broadcaster’s extensive history and independent spirit. What we love the most about this kind of music streaming system is the uncertainty and surprise factor it has :) We cannot think of a better moment to turn on the radio than driving on local streets. With a bright and loud visual identity, Caserne created a super eye-catchy color palette for CISM. The brand merchandising has a cool look and feel, and we're in love with the sweatshirt and the colorful pins.
The result is a brand that stands out from other streaming services that had their later start on the internet.
