The human body is extraordinary, and most of the time, we don't seem to appreciate it. Today, to ponder our bodies, we're showcasing Curate!, a Biofeedback therapy clinic located in Brazil. The Biofeedback therapy process involves scanning different organs and body energies in search of the individual's self-healing. The creative body and mind behind Curate's visual identity are Rafael Cardoso.
The branding revolves around three main concepts: the Tree of Life, the Torus, and Catalan Architecture Modernism. The Torus represents the magnetic field of the heart, which is the strongest rhythmic field produced by the human body; it not only involves all the cells of the body. Also, it extends in all directions in the space around us. And about the Tree of Life, in many exoteric traditions, it represents the human chakras. And when it's properly aligned, through meditation and emotional balance techniques, they form a sacred geometric shape of a funnel-shaped Torus vortex. For Curate's aesthetic, Rafael took inspiration from the Spanish culture, as it links to the other two concepts. Catalan Modernism became the central topic for the brand's style. Between de 19th and early 20th centuries, this movement strongly influenced Spanish architecture, arts, and literature. It characterizes by its curved lines as nature-inspired, particularly by flora. The font choice also associates with the artistic movement. The rounded serif typographies perfectly work with the dark, autumnal color palette.
All in all, we're fascinated by the precise and hidden concepts behind the Curate's visual identity. And we found Rafael's subtle work super complete and unique.
