Desert Center California Photography

Beautiful photoshoot of a deserted diner in California. The shoot is entitled Desert Center, California, and it was captured by Mickey Strider in San Diego.

Founded in 1921 by Stephen A. Ragsdale, Desert Center, California was once the only stop with gas and food for 50 miles in either direction. Now a ghost town, this piece of forgotten Americana sits idle on old US 60 just off of Interstate 10 in the Colorado Desert of Riverside County - about halfway between Phoenix and Los Angeles.
