Festival Nrmal 2017 Identity

Nrmal is an alternative music festival and a cultural reference in Mexico City. Sociedad Anónima art director, Mauro Bonillo, developed the graphic identity and art direction for the festival’s 8th edition in 2017.

The youthful branding goes for an urban street-art inspired style with large, bold typography and solid block colours of bright red and blue, next to a black and white colour scheme. A reapeating pattern constructed of hand-drawn scribbles as a playfully contemporary element.
