Damon xart, Yu Chen and mimi Chang combined the name FOCA with the Spanish word CASA, to represent that the circus tent is our home--not just for the people of FOCA, but for all the circus people. One of their most important goal in FOCA is to introduce circus to everyone, into their everyday life, so that maybe one day, all people may become circus people.

They aim to provide a well-rounded experience for every age group to enjoy, to make sure that the 'villagers' will always have things to do and see in the festival at any given point. Just like in candy shops, there are always so many things to choose from, so many to see. In this purpose, they established 8 different sections in the whole village, invited more than 30 groups of performers from 8 countries, and schedules 150 shows in the span of 7 days.
