GLASS, designed by
, is an independent photobook created by acclaimed photographer and surf explorer Lewis Arnold. The goal of Glass is to champion surf-related photography, art and writing as valid artistic discipline. GLASS connects surfing creatives with the wider surfer community in a deep and lasting way to document what is an inspiring time in North Sea surfing.
The book features important works from key figures in the art and design community across North Sea nations, and champions environmental issues and inclusivity. The book is printed on mixed stock, bunch bound, with a striking orange fore edge print. The book also features a blind Spot UV GLASS masthead on the cover, the name is inspired by 'Glassy days' when the ocean resembles sheet glass.The book is set in Kilm Foundries 'Founders Grotesk' and features experimental mixed font headlines, paired with Sharp type's 'Ogg'.
