Today's design post features an on-fire cinematic aesthetic for Glaze's identity. Glaze is a modern cannabis company whose goal is to improve the consumer experience through a smart gadget. From the name and logo to the typography and packaging - Navarra.is created a strong brand narrative without using one element too many. They came to Navarra.is with a need for an exciting, trustworthy brand, reflecting their client's background in fashion and contemporary art. However, Glaze founders want to be perceived as firm professionals when it comes to product development and quality control.

The logotype consists of custom black Grotesk letters made from scratch, giving an organic touch to them. The typographic system based on Arial Regular worked into a classic grid system. Featuring a clean white outside with 2021's most relatable trend: bold curvy type fonts, creatives developed their own for this project. With a limited color palette: black, white, and red, they managed to make a stunning unique composition. All are powerful tools when used well. As big fans of disproving the validity of the zero-sum game mentality any chance Navarra.is' team gets, they decided to create an identity that is fun and proper at the same time. They stayed away from your run-of-the-mill stoner brand aesthetic while also steering clear from the generic consumer brand territory. Designers wanted it to have a fiery, cinematic nature - a strong presence. They wanted it to burn. And nailed it. 🔥
