GRCC Lookbook

Grand Rapids Chair Company, positioned by Public/Official, is a contract furniture company that caters largely to the hospitality industry. They needed a lookbook to showcase a new range of products, but with the hospitality sector laid low by the pandemic, they wanted to avoid displaying them in restaurant and hotel environments, hoping to attract a broader audience. Keep it slightly abstract, was the brief.

Working with local photographer Dean van Dis, our solution was to create a series of boldly colored sets combining geometric steel frames and printed silk drops with playfully colored and upholstered furniture.

The finished lookbook was brought to life as both a printed catalog and a simple webpage that featured a charming mix of van Dis lush stills and subtle animations.
