Incredible interior and graphic design for Grønland Gym, a gastro bar located in Oslo. This concept was created by Radius design, an identity and interior design studio, also located in Oslo.
The concept for this interior was inspired by sports. In the inner part of the restaurant, the combination of textures and materials to resemble a high school gym was very well applied to give life to the whole identity system. The brand identity also shares resemblances with the several facets of the common sports played, by having a custom typography done in a way where the various letterforms are modified to look like the sides, tops and shapes of basketball hoops, the lines on the floor and more.
Everything is well combined with a series of black and white retro photographs and a colour palette made out of teal and white, that perfectly agrees with the washed out brown of the floors and the abundance of light in the interior of the restaurant.
