How often do you take out that heavy box of memories from the closet and let the nostalgia flourish? Today's design post is about the person in charge of making those special moments last in time. We're talking about a lifestyle and couples photographer in northern California, Hannah Posey, who needed a branding identity that represents what she enjoys the most, creatively led by San Diego-based Brianna Miller.
Brianna, a graphic designer and illustrator, received inspiration from the authenticity of Hannah's pictures. Her goal is to show the unposed, raw, sometimes messy beauty of the people with which she works. So, to create a representative identity, Brianna got immersed in her pictures. The common element of all the photographs she takes is nature. Consequently, the logo depicts a wildflower breaking out of a frame, which we can relate to those free and easy, relaxed moments inside a couple's photoshoot. Therefore, the color palette is also earth-inspired, with brownish, warm tones that make this branding project close and friendly. To make Hannah Posey's pictures the center of the scene, the typography chosen is one with a minimal aesthetic. All this was applied to business and thank you cards, wedding guides alongside social media assets.
Perhaps, it's time to look for that significant box of memories and get inspired by those happy times. Or scroll down and enjoy this heart-warming branding project that might inspire you next time you're creating new memories.
Friendly tip: this work goes perfectly with a cup of coffee on your most comfy sofa.
