Located in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, this Hawaiian restaurant brand designed by Atlas Branding brings the essence and menu of its sister restaurant in Waimea, Hawaii to the mainland. Atlas Branding worked closely with Huli Sues BBQ + Grill to craft a brand rooted in vintage, 1960s Aloha vibes.
The brand features numerous illustrations that showcase the Huli Sues story while also highlighting some playful elements like sharks eating hoagies, cowboy surfers, and the brands iconic Sue soaking in a coconut cocktail.
Atlas and Huli Sues wanted the brand to be family-centric; a place where the food is seriously good, but the company doesnt take itself too seriously. From custom neon typography, to coasters and merchandise, this brand extends its hospitality and joy across all media.
