Iceland from above

German photographer Kevin Krautgartner's stunning photo series captures the beauty of Iceland from above. The aerial photography of natural landscapes taken in 2016 reveals the country's diverse terrain, from icy mountains, roaring volcanoes, monolithic glaciers and deep fjords. Krautgartner says, 'The best way to capture all that different kind of nature is from above.' His composition technique, capturing contrasting colours, patterns and textures, creates the illusion of the magical landscapes transforming into works of art.
