ILAT

Clean. Minimal. Consistent. This is what defines ILAT design. Buenos Aires-based studio Asís designed the visual identity for ILAT – Alliance for the Integration and Development of Latin America and the Caribbean. The Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), CAF –Development Bank of Latin America– and FONPLATA announced the launch of the alliance to provide technical and financial support to integration projects and generate knowledge and applied technology. The three banks have come together to support the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. For developing quality integration infrastructure, transparently and innovatively. It is a new and current Alliance that represents a strategic collaboration resource for the region's government.

Asís designed the logo mark based on the concepts of progress and growth, which are the pillars of the alliance. The three arrows are identified as independent elements but are graphically linked, representing the three organizations working together. The arrow is a graphic symbol used to point or indicate direction. Its use instantly suggests the idea of movement and vitality. The arrows' orientation conveys the idea of moving forward and upwards as in progress and growth. The arrow shapes look like the cast shadow of building blocks. Linked to the morphology of the mark to the infrastructure developments the alliance is backing.

It is also notable that the configuration of the symbol suggests the idea of a flock. Each flock formed has a specific purpose. But each shares the benefit of safety and the empowerment of working together. Two concepts are close to the objectives of this organization. Gran trabajo :)

Asís is a graphic design studio based in Buenos Aires, directed by Francisco Andriani and Clara Fernández. They are graphic designers specialized in branding. The designers focus on developing coherent and efficient visual identities through both printed and digital solutions for every client. They explore many concepts by relating with customers and the company. This principle responds to client's claims, always favoring direct contact with them. We help brands tell their story.
