Today's design post brings Carioca vibes around Mindsparkle Mag. The protagonists? Inter, one of Brazil’s dearest fintechs with millions of users, and Rebu, a local design studio we had featured some of their projects before. On this occasion, the financial brand needed a new, fresh strategy, voice, and expression. And Rebu was perfect for the job.
As usual, creatives analyzed the brief, the brand personality, values, purpose, among others. So, they came up with a cool new aesthetic and proposed a new logo design. Also, designers thought of a complete guideline for Inter's personality. Simple was the principal concept for the rebranding, so they could make life simpler. With all the festive and joyful background of Inter and Rebu's motherland, the project has a super recognizable vibrant color, and it is correctly applied. Also, they developed some bubbly figures along with the logo. All these shapes frame pictures in public ads and give a distinctive look. The same happens with Inter's new illustrations; Rebu decided to make them more real, respecting actual human proportions and leaving aside the 'cartoonish' style. All this reflects a more mature moment of the brand.
Rebu is an acronym for revolutionary, elegant, Brazilian, and unique. They make their living through strategic thinking and experimental expression. They partner with non-conforming brands and people and create things they would do for themselves and their loved ones.
