IPANEMA is a first generation, family-owned Brazilian restaurant that has been in business for 40 years. Located on Little Brazil street in Midtown West since 1979, Ipanema had built a long history with a loyal customer base and wanted to make sure that this rebrand was an homage to history and continued this kinship.
The clients tasked Saint Urbain with helping them revamp their current brand into something modern and fun for their new location in Connecticut. As a family business with four different voices, they orchestrated separate interviews and developed four different brands, reflecting each unique perspective. In the end, the brand that one was heavily inspired by 1970s Rio De Janeiro as an homage to the early days.
