This week we have been showcasing many projects with different printing techniques. Today, we are presenting to you the Kopfschmerzen poetry series. It takes a very graphic approach to poetry. 310k studio creatively propelled this work. Each edition has a unique flair for representing poetry more unconventionally. And this is their third edition: Kopfschmerzen #03
The collaboration with Joris Tromp started in 2015, and Kopfschmerzen is his poetry series. Looking back to the previous editions, series #01 consists of 4 poems on four typographical silkscreen prints A2 size paper. Each limited edition uses different inks, gradients, and a subtle varnish layer. In 2019 series #02, they created a wearable poetry edition featuring a limited edition t-shirt, hoody, sweater, and long sleeves. In June 2021, they released their series #03. Three different silkscreen prints with various poems. Once again, we'll see this 2021's most popular trend: color gradients. All are limited edition prints on A2 format, with special inks, iris gradient technique, and a delicious thick varnish layer. This last layer has a high-quality effect making the printing a unique piece. Apart from the three original paper printings, there's an extra one in a tote bag format printed on both sides, which we found super convenient for running daily errands.
