Most of the summer's days and nights are perfect for a cold, creamy snack after a day under the Ecuatorial sun. Yes, we're referring to ice cream. However, we strongly believe that every season of the year is suitable for having ice cream. Lado Bueno is the first Ecuadorean brand that offers premium artisan ice cream and Dabrand studio was creatively in charge of its identity.

Today, we are constantly concerned about being healthy. And it sometimes translates to depriving ourselves of the little pleasures of the everyday. We end up thinking that food, specifically desserts and ice cream, is the enemy. Baring this in mind, Lado Bueno's founder saw the pandemic as an opportunity to create a premium, artisan ice cream. It not only had to taste good but, most importantly, makes you feel good and motivates you to see the bright side of life. Balance is health, and what better way to be healthy than to eat great ice cream and not feel guilty about it?

For the naming, Dabrand thought of the idea of the bright side and translated that term in Spanish, having as a result: Lado Bueno. Which also, if read together, it translates to good ice cream. The brand identity and packaging, Dabrand was inspired by the idea of finding the bright side. Through colors and handmade illustrations, you can identify their 28 varieties of flavors. They played around with circles, color contrasts, and fun messages that make people smile. And above all, make them feel great about eating something so special and unique.

Made only with high-quality, fresh, and honest ingredients, Lado Bueno satisfies every client's preferences, needs, and dietary restrictions, like vegan, non-dairy, fat-free, sugar-free, and classic flavors.
