Las Naves, designed by Estudio Menta, is a innovation center of the city of Valencia; a public entity, dependent on the City Council, that promotes social innovation. However, part of their work is not known to the public. For this reason, Las Naves is making an effort to convey that the initiatives it carries out directly influence the neighborhoods and the life of Valencians. To this end, the center has embarked on a new stage that has begun by renewing its space and its corporate identity to make the population aware of its work.
They were in charge of designing the new visual identity to enhance the communication of this new stage. They proposed a dynamic, colorful and flexible visual system. In this new graphic, illustrations of both geometric and figurative shapes are proposed, with the possibility of including textures and patterns. The idea is that the design varies depending on the communicative situation and the target audience, opting for a more synthetic or more narrative aesthetic depending on the need. In this sense, the space is part of the identity and has a great communicative force, so its signage needed to be rethought.
