Let Me Be for Stories Collective

Melbourne-based designer Emily Clarke is behind the editorial design of Let Me Be, a publication from Stories Collective. Stories Collective is an online platform showcasing inspiring fashion stories created by photographers, stylists, art directors, filmmakers, designers and models all over the world.

The editorial design is clean and minimal, allowing the photos and the title to be the central focus. The layout design balances the portrait photography with clean space, using a colour palette of off-white beige with contrasting deep teal for a pop of colour.

A modern take on stencil-inspired typography is displayed across the pages at an angled format, giving the publication a bold, statement look in contrast with the feminine and soft aesthetic of the photography.
