Vukile Batyi Studio designed MAXHOSA AFRICA. MaXhosa is known for its bold, colorful & dynamic patterns that draw inspiration from traditional Xhosa beadwork. The brand is distinguished by the "X" motif elegantly incorporated into all MaXhosa products, hence using this mark as the essential reference for the icon. The icon resembles elements such as the bit-mapped structure of textile programming & textures and the building blocks of beadwork. With this identity, Vukile Batyi Studio intended to create a sophisticated African inspired brand system that still has a global appeal.
