As we have already traveled to Melbourne today, we decided to stay there and showcase Merchant Coffee Roasters' branding and packaging design by Ryan Romanes Studio. Merchant Coffee Roasters offers premium roasts for hospitality venues and coffee connoisseurs across the Victorian region.

With a well-established and loyal following in rural Victoria, the family-owned business approached us to revitalize its branding and packaging as it expanded into the Melbourne market. When evolving Merchant Coffee Roasters' identity, Ryan Romanes Studio designers embrace traditional design elements that resonated with existing buyers while also achieving a cosmopolitan edge that would appeal to inner-city cafes. Their refreshed design direction comes across various touch-points, including new coffee cups, bags, tasting notes, business cards, and much more. The creative team came up with a stunning typography choice; we'd love to know its name. Plus, the light texture with the blue font adds an extra visual effect that makes this brand unique.
