Montreal International Jazz Festival 2021

Let's calm down a while with some chill music! 2021 edition of the Montreal Jazz Festival, the organizing committee has decided to continue its collaboration, initiated in 2019, with Baillat Studio. The commission was to redefine the festival's visual identity by giving it new energy: fearless and summery. The Montreal International Jazz Festival is about music: the cymbals, but it's also about summer: the sun and its festive warmth. If you are a big fan of this rhythm, you'll love this design post.

The visual identity of the 42nd edition of the festival gathers inspiration from a series of illustrations created by the impressive Stéphane Poirier. A modular system arranges these graphic pieces for multiple variations. It's appropriate for an event with a rich and varied program. With a pop aesthetic, Montreal International Jazz Festival 2021 has bright-colored branding featuring a beautiful and eye-catchy look. When we think of summer, ice cream and sunnies are classic. Also, a pair of sunshades form part of the essentials. And Montreal International Jazz Festival has it all. So, what are you waiting for to get a plane ticket for next year's edition?

We hope you all enjoyed this fun and warm visual identity designed by Baillat studio, which brings all the things we miss from summer days. Can you picture something better than a late summer night listening to some jazz?
