Enduring forces of nature is the sentence that may describe this creative project. Today we are showcasing a visual identity work featuring nature, history, food, and first-class design. Goulandris Natural History Museum’s restaurant asked Luminous Design Group to create Natu branding.
Designers' goal was to amalgamate the two worlds that harmoniously come together through their connection with organic matter: the museum itself and the restaurant, as a natural continuation of the exhibition space. The name Natú / GNHM that they developed stands for nature: the source of all life. We live surrounded by nature, and we yearn for its presence. As a symbol of inner peace, it is a place where we can reflect on what’s important and what’s not. And who doesn't enjoy spending time in a beautiful garden drinking a refreshing lemonade? The logo echoes an organic imprint combined with a partially elegant, partially casual typeface. Also, the color palette chosen gives this project a deep-seated and delicate character, capturing the essence of the museum and the restaurant. Overall it is an impeccable work, with a sophisticated aesthetic and astounding art direction to presenting it.
