Lithuanians have old traditions consuming fermented foods: cabbage & cucumbers, rye bread, soured milk, & kvass. This book is an attempt to see these simple food items in a different light and to advance the fermentation process using more versatile products.

The characters in the typeface chosen by Boy are an amazing complement to the lightness of the grid and overall composition of the book. The hardcover finish and the accents of greys and off-whites are very well complemented by the dim and neutral photography. Amazing work.
