In the latest years, people have become more conscious about what they are taking into their bodies. Small businesses and farm producers shifted to the center of the scene, where the B2C grew stronger. Plantó is a familiar business that aims to save agriculture from the stiff environmental impact, offering 100% organic and healthy products. Organic-from-root, Plantó founders asked Pánico Estudio to design their fresh and natural visual identity.
To bring their concept alive, designers thought of nature as imperfect and unpredictable, so as a family but filled with colors and emotions. Indeed, organic products have a more intense flavor, spiciness, and sweetness. Consequently, creatives reflected this in Plantó's color palette. What's more vibrant than an orange and teal contrast? Tbh, we couldn't come up with anything.
With a vintage aesthetic and a warm, grid background, photography and art direction pop out of the imagery. Posters, business cards, tote bags, and of course, Plantó's products; communicate the brand's values with character illustrations. These play different family members' roles and perfectly interact with the actual veggies.
