Have you ever experienced creating something with your bare hands and enjoyed more the process than the final result of what you're making? We certainly know that this cannot happen every day at work or in academic studies. Though it's propitious to commit to something and not worrying if you deliver or not, appreciate the time spent. And we directly link it to artisanal handcrafted objects. So, today, we're showcasing Pottery & Poetry's branding design by Bengaru Agency. 

'Pottery is the process and product of forming pots and other objects with clay, hands, poetry, and ceramic materials, which are fired at high temperatures to give them a strong and durable shape.' And branding designs quite relate to this as they have to be long-lasting for the first couple of years. So, Bengaru's designers came up with a warm, friendly concept. The studio was in charge not only of Pottery & Poetry's branding but developed its naming and web design. The typography choice was a font with a fancy imprint, and they played with the O's by incorporating another typeface. Plus, they include a pattern with a rustic, arid feel from the clay earthy origin. Printed pieces incorporate this texture and overlay a second label with an orange pop-up color, including the product illustrations. 

The overall appearance reminds us of the warmth of clay products. We love the minimal approach and the art direction for the branding project. Also, Pottery & Poetry features an autumn color aesthetic take this as our invitation to sit at your favorite sofa and scroll down ;)
