Chandelier is a creative agency, founded by Richard Christiansen, based in New York and Los Angeles. We love to support our friends and champion causes we believe in, whether it's a charity, a brand doing good, or someone on our team with a great idea. In 2016, we launched “Loved and Supported By” to lend our services to these passion projects. When Planned Parenthood of New York City asked us to set the visual tone for their annual Spring Gala, we were thrilled.
Planned Parenthood of New York City needed a festive invite for their Spring Gala that would stand out in a sea of fundraising pleas. We created a bold call to arms that is bright and upbeat with technicolor optimism. Initially inspired by the typography and language of women's suffrage posters, we crafted a typographic treatment that undulates and dressed it in colors that vibrate. The embossed graphic flowers and a wavy die-cut envelope flap only add to the energy of the invite. The final result is pro-active and pro-fun (for our favorite pro-choice champions).
