Beautiful identity design by Xavi Martinez, a designer based in Spain for Sala Equis, a cultural space created for film lovers, in Madrid.

Sala Equis is a new cultural space created for film lovers. Here cinema, music, food, drinks and different kinds of culture events coexist on the same place. This unique space is born from the old “Cinema Alba” the last porn cinema in Madrid.

Xavi was approached by Sala Equis to help them build a new brand identity as well as a website, visual communication, packaging and signage. Having old cinema billboard advertising and light boxes as a reference, the designer developed a playful and flexible system.
