Side x Slab Town

Jieru Chen designed Side x Slab Town. Side is a ceramic brand exported by two graphic designers. More precisely, it is not a brand, but an expression of a concept. The brand's name is inspired by the ceramics that are fired in the kiln. Each ceramic surface is different after being taken out. Different sides present different patterns and mechanisms. This is also the fun of their ceramics.

The original intention of outputting side is to make something at hand, which is a daily routine that we can get at hand. At the same time, side also means "support". Starting from the utensils, the designers want to inspire a kind of care, encouragement and support for others.

Some subtle movements and simple words can give the other person strength, and connect with society with empathy.
