Based in São Paulo, SM2 stands for Somos movidos pelo detalhe. This brand revolves around the automobile industry and design, dedicated to details. Founded by two friends and car enthusiasts, they took the opportunity to satisfy a niche. Their audience was looking to add value to their cars at the beginning of the pandemic. SM2 asked OTRE studio to create its visual identity.
After an exhaustive benchmarking, creatives developed a brand system representative of their passion for detail in the car industry. OTRE's team came up with a super modern concept with clean style and distinctive typography that makes this branding unique. Respecting its color palette, we find the violet hue familiar, and we instantly recognized it from Joao Ferreira's previous work for Celero branding. However, it's a darker hue combined with a popping orange. What do you think about this bold color palette choice unconventional to the car industry?
The art direction and the overall look and feel look stunning. Plus, SM2 showcases its deep interest in detail, featuring an ultra-balanced graphic composition. Also, we can perceive a dynamic and modern aesthetic typical of new cars with mega technological features.
