After a yummy Tuesdah journal, we're back with a brand new bakery identity we came across after finishing the last Top 10 edition. Solbake's branding design belongs to designer and art director Lung-Hao Chiang.
The visual concept of Solbake's brand identity originates from the fermentation of dough, bread, and the rising sun. The identity design aims for customers to remember the smell of freshly baked bread, its warmness, and sunshine, which is crucial for the fermentation process. So, in the end, the logo was decided to be a simple geometric figure, like the fermented dough and the rising sun, like the bread dough being fermented; it is alive and changes shape with different packaging design carriers.
Lung-Hao hopes his brand vision system that is flexible and warm. Enjoying fresh bread is like taking a bite of the warm sun. And for sure we did!
