A LINE Studio was approached by Tatari, a data & analytics company focused on buying and measuring TV advertising, to create a brand for their new series of thought leadership events. By bringing media and publishing luminaries together with marketing leadership from the world's best brands, Tatari wanted to shine a light on one important topic - What does TV advertising look like for the brands of the future?
The brief of finding something that felt bold and futuristic but also smart and intimate led us to the name “Forward”. The name was inspired by both the focus on the future and the fast-moving pace of the digital media industry.
To maintain the connection to the parent brand, they used the existing Tatari design system as a springboard, evolving it to feel even bolder by using pixels to construct a graphic F symbol, which formed the basis of the grid and composition.
The outcome was a fresh, modern brand identity that works as both a sub-brand and a standalone brand, which manages to feel both timeless and futuristic. The first event in the series is planned for late 2022 in New York City.
