The Zeus Jones team was thrilled to partner with Hilton to create a new brand that appeals to an emerging audience demanding inspirational design, great coffee, and better sleep.

The name Tempo evokes the rhythm of a well-lived life, and the Zeus Jones team created a design system that seamlessly supports the way Tempo guests move, rest, and work. They crafted the branding elements, voice, and tone to be understated, stylish, and elevated.

One of the key elements of the brand is the line in the logo, which represents a metronome - the iconic symbol for keeping time. The slash runs through the mathematical center of the logo, creating a clear moment between the angular efficiency of the first part of the word and the welcoming roundness of the second half.

A lot of thought was put into the color palette, typography, and photography style for Tempo. The color palette was created to convey modern sophistication by taking primary colors and shifting them to a unique place that sets Tempo apart in the category. The typography choices celebrate the contrast that defines the tempo of life. Inferi brings a sense of elevated formality with modern touches, while Styrene offers a sense of modern simplicity and attention to detail. The photography style finds the special in the familiar, capturing a smooth, productive, and really good day.
