The Green, positioned by Stout Collective, is a golf simulator, bar, and restaurant in Chicagos Bucktown neighborhood. They came to Stout Collective with a clear idea: create a brand for both non-golfers and avid enthusiasts that felt welcoming and fun for all. A heroic archetype that feels approachable to those seeking to improve their game, as well as newcomers just looking to have a good time leads The Greens brand personality. The brands voice and tone, along with their visual identity distinguishes them from competing indoor golf concepts.
They enlisted the help of Matt Erickson to lead the logo design process, inspired by our work on brand positioning. Confident, enduring, and energetic their standout G icon, custom number set, and color story support the idea that this is indoor golf as youve never seen it before. They continued to work with The Green as they prepared for their Fall 2022 launch in Chicago. They came on as their marketing and design department, building out social media content, a Shopify site, merch design, copywriting, photography, menu design, signage, email newsletters, and so much more.
