The Knotty Ones is a Baltic-inspired knitwear brand that empowers female artisans in rural Lithuania, by offering financial independence through sustainable employment. Their eco-friendly approach includes biodegradable, plastic-free materials, cruelty-free yarns from ethical suppliers, and non-toxic dyes, often hand-dyed with natural herbs. Small batch production ensures zero waste.

Studio Marina Veziko was brought on for the rebranding, crafting a visual identity that is both enduring and contemporary. The identity features a refined color palette and sophisticated typography, merging modern minimalism with a nod to the brands Baltic heritage. The logo plays on the double meaning that arises from the pronunciation of Knotty. The flirty O letters add a fun touch, while also resembling balls of wool, subtly hinting at the brands craft. The overall rebranding balances the brands playful spirit with its commitment to quality and tradition.
