The Kosciuszko Foundation

Founded in 1925, the Kosciuszko Foundation, rebranded by TOFU Studio,  promotes closer ties between Poland and the United States through educational, scientific and cultural exchanges. It awards up to $1 milion annually in fellowships and grants to graduate students, scholars, scientists, professionals, and artists, and promotes Polish culture in America. The Kociuszko Foundation has always been using its full-length name and a complicated form of seal as the logo. As TOFU Studio main goal was visual and communicational simplicity, they've decided to build the brand concept based on its everyday used shortage the KF. To improve the legibility and usability of the seal, TOFU Studio have made the stylistic and optical corrections to it original form. The contradicting in colors, centralized rectangles symbolize Polish-Amercian collaboration through the KF work. Both countries, taking whats best from their diversed cultures.
