The Mercat de Música Viva de Vic (MMVV) is a professional meeting point for the music sector. It is held annually in the second weekof September and brings together professionals from the Catalan, national and international music industry for four days. Its multi stylistic character makes it unique on the international scene, offering the best of festivals in a market. Since 1989, the MMVV has served as a showcase for new music projects, encouraging the hiring of shows and allowing the sharing of knowledge and experiences between professionals in the sector. With clear international focus, Autonomous Communities, Associations in the sector and the Catalan and state Institutions create the ideal conditions to be a reference point for the present and the future of the live music industry.
