DUSK, a young design studio from London, present a playful series of CGI tiled and mosaic rendered type designs.
DUSK specialise in typography and illustration and strive to deliver the most unique designs by exploring diverse styles and disciplines. “This project developed into a wider exercise in order to explore the potential of the style in both stills and with some simple animation and sound design.”
The colourful series uses intricate mosaic tiles to create a range of typography styles from handwritten calligraphy, script, and modern serif. This youthful type exploration combined with classic Moorish-inspired geometric tile art makes for captivating visuals. DUSK take the project further with short animations and audio to compliment the theme of the respective tile design.
