Tulum Treehouse

Tulum Treehouse is a beautiful rustic home set on the edge of a tropical Mexican jungle. It is a collective effort from a diverse group of local artists, including interior designer Annabell Kutucu and architects from CO-LAB Design Office. All collaborators are united in their commitment to using local, organic, and sustainable materials that offer a connection to the natural world through beautiful design.

The fully furnished home includes large common areas, several spacious terraces, indoor-outdoor dining areas, and five bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Kutucu’s work combines handmade, artisanal, and organic elements - such as old linen, rough textiles, and weathered wood - with vintage and contemporary pieces. This creates an effortlessly holistic environment that perfectly complements the natural surroundings.

Locally sourced Tzalam wood is used throughout the house along with polished white cement walls and surfaces. Large windows and open spaces allow light and air to flow through tranquil rooms that are thoughtfully decorated with local textiles and ceramics, Oaxacan rugs, and bespoke furnishings by local artists.
