Villa Des Fleurs

La Tortilleria designed Villa Des Fleurs—VDF— an upscale flower delivery service from Kuwait that has been offering ageless luxury in bouquets and arrangements since 2008. They cater to walk-in customers mainly looking for hand bouquets as well as online shoppers who need a more sophisticated pre-designed arrangement. VDF also does social events and has its own academy.

The agency refreshed the brand, polished it and created new design pieces to make the business stand out and look even more professional. First, they updated the tulip icon and the master wordmark by simplifying the lines and characters, infusing the brand with timeless, unembellished elegance. Next, they took that look & feel and used it to produce the identity for The Academy by VDF, the shop’s training platform.

Unique flower designs, designer vases and top tier services characterize VDF, so they created a very special array of visual, and functional, elements. A minimalist aesthetic with natural-colored highlights and earth-inspired patterns dominates the design work, from the branded bouquet wrapping paper held together with embossed copper stickers, to the multi-purpose paper bags and information cards. Great care and inspiration were essential in designing the VDF brand. Every piece of stationery, as well as the business cards, price tags and seasonal greetings cards, was carefully created to reflect Villa Des Fleur’s personality.
