Vlastnecký výber is dedicated to handpicked best 6 Slovak wines from small local wineries. The first edition comes from south-west area of Slovakia. The symbol depicts the initials of VV and is inspired by crossed wine cuttings. It is ink illustrated as well as all the other designs used on the packaging. The main idea comes out of slovak public figures quotes and slovak folk proverbs illustrated in Fractur calligraphy, all in clear and minimalist style beacause of Fractur‘s tend to feel a little bit heavy. Gentle splutters are made using a tooth brush and fingerprints were added to make the packaging even more organic. The stickers are printed on structured paper and contain basic information about packaging, including brand species and production year of the wines inside. The ritual calligraphic wordmark is placed on the bottom, embossed using a silver chrome foil. The wine package contains special information inside printed on the same paper which is used on packaging and contains the complete technical information and few words about the origin of each wine.
