With their 50-year anniversary approaching, the team at Wilson Hartnell approached Rowdy Studio to help refresh their brand positioning and identity to make it fit for the next 50.

CEASELESS WONDER. THOUGHTFUL WONDER. Rowdy Studio helped distil the essence of who they are to Ceaseless Wonder. Thoughtful Impact. They are constantly in search of answers to understand their clients problems, people, the world and whats changing. They bring wide-eyed optimism for inspired thinking. Providing balance and maturity they care deeply about the impact for their clients, their customers, the people, and the world. Three principles of Inquisitive, Inventive, and Intelligent tapped into the teams motivation and creativity and the key drivers that move them forward.

RECLAIM BEING SQUARE As a team of social investigators, they balance wide-eyed optimism with measured thinking. This is captured in the visual identity by reclaiming the square mark from the previous identity and reframing its application. It now expands, pushes, and challenges spaces, boundaries, and form. The identity system built around it is flexible and adaptable, speaking to how Wilson Hartnell approaches their work.

REFRAME THE RED Red was an existing colour in the palette that was integral to Wilson Hartnells heritage and legacy. To create more impact and flexibility Rowdy Studio expanded the palette and helped them reframe the use of red throughout their brand. Always important and included but alongside the rest of the palette, they could amplify their offer across different channels and in more diverse ways.

To activate the new brand, we developed a new website, custom 3D iconography, hero motion visuals, social and sales deck templates.
